Text to Notes
Your second brain, one text at a time
The Problem
Ideas hit at the worst times. In the car. Walking the dog. Half-asleep at 2am. You can either let them evaporate or fumble with apps that require too much friction. Notes apps want you to organize. Voice memos pile up unlistened. Everything requires too many taps when your hands are full and your brain is racing.
We needed something as simple as texting a friend. No app to open. No folder to choose. Just fire off the thought and trust it'll be there when you need it.
What We Built
A phone number. That's it. Text anything to it - ideas, reminders, random observations, things to look up later, half-formed thoughts - and it captures everything. But here's where it gets interesting: when you're ready to actually use those notes, the AI has already done the work.
It summarizes. It groups related thoughts. It connects dots you didn't see. That shower thought from Tuesday? It's been linked to the article you texted on Thursday and the task you mentioned on Friday. Your scattered inputs become structured insights.
When you get home and sit down to work, you're not starting from zero. You're picking up where your best thinking left off.
Stack
- SMS/MMS ingestion via Twilio
- Real-time transcription + parsing
- Semantic clustering + summarization
- Daily/weekly digest generation
- Voice note support
The Result
This started as a personal tool. We built it for ourselves because nothing else worked the way our brains do. Now it saves us hours every week. Not because of any single feature, but because it removes the tax on capturing thoughts. Zero friction means nothing gets lost.
The best ideas aren't the ones you have at your desk. They're the ones that used to disappear before you got there.
